Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
