Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is solid.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
